Судя по реакции - мы не одиноки в своем неодоюрении такими действиями и как результат

Due to very heavy demand, as well as concerns from BattleTech players about the end of January deadline, IWM is extending the window to order the mechs going to archive status without the archive charge to end of business on Friday February 13th,2009.

С другой стороны - классный коммерческий ход, чтобы расшевелить игровое сообщество. Молодцы!

Угу, после объявления народ запаниковал и принялся кидаться заказами напропалую. Причем даже те, кто собирался подождать полгодика до крупного заказа, принялись спешно искать варианты на паях.

Правда есть и еще одна проблема, Мелисса Морелло, "Офисная грымза" Айронов легла на операцию, и оформление и прием заказов несколько замедлились и запутались. Но операция прошла хорошо, и скоро она вернется. Кстати добавленные две недели хорошо кореллируют с временем, что она проведет в больнице.

Специально отправили ее на покой , чтобы она собралась с новыми силами для такого колличества заказов.

Да нет, там что-то про артерии в руке, непроходимость крови назад к мозгу и все такое. Плохо разбираюсь в этом

Subject: Surgery went great...
I just came from the hospital, and Melissa is doing fantastic.
She's in a bit of pain but talking, eating some, etc.
They plan to have her up and sitting this afternoon and walking soon after...
They left the old graft in and did a new one, bypassing the blockage with a new graft from her aorta to her carotid.
They then detached the big artery in her arm and ran it to the new graft. She has normal blood flow to her head now and a good strong pulse in her arm. She'll be in ICU for a few days and then home...
It'll be awhile before she's back at the shop - at least a month.
We hope to have her doing e-mails from home much sooner, but for now I'm trying to handle all of her calls and e-mails as well as mine, so please bear with me it it takes me some time to get back to you.
Thanks to everyone that called or e-mailed their good wishes. It means a lot to her and all the rest of us...

Да, только посочувствовать. И судя по описанию из активной жизни компании она выпала как минимум на месяц. Хотя эти эксплуататоры хотят ее засадить за мыло поскорее :wink:
