LAAF Seizes Fylgia, Strikes Skye Defenses

[20 July 3071; FSP] A star has left the heavens of Skye tonight, and thousands note its passing with fear.
Citing a lawful order from the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces, the Mjolnir-class WarShip Fylgia made sail for the interior of the Alliance today, jumping out with its meager escorts at midnight, local time. A representative of Duke Robert Kelswa-Steiner’s office called the Fylgia’s withdrawal “…a criminal weakening of Skye’s defenses in light of continual threat by Marik and Word of Blake forces.”
No word of the WarShip’s destination has been released, although an anonymous source did confirm that the Fylgia’s first jump was programmed toward Tharkad and our embattled Archon. Many on Skye have grown accustomed to the comforting sight of the Mjolnir rising like a newborn star every morning, and already portents are foreboding and depressing.
LAAF officials on Skye refuse to comment, citing only the lawful order for transit signed by General of the Armies Adam Steiner himself. As a unit of the Alliance Navy, and not a local Skye asset, Fylgia falls under LAAF authority and the General of the Armies has clearly set his goals nearer the center of the Alliance.
